The collection of maps at the University Library in Poznań provides a diverse representation of the Greater Poland region as well as the country of Poland and various areas of Europe. They depict, among other things, changes in the settlement network, administrative divisions, and important transport routes. Thus they testify to the political and environmental changes of the areas represented. The presented collection includes items published between 1730 and 1964.
